    My Fly 150 has been running for about a year with no problems. I have had it serviced twice. About a month ago it conked out when I was riding it. I managed to get it to a petrol station, assuming I just ran out of fuel (even though the gauge said there was still a litre left). I filled it up and it was fine. A week or so later (I only use it a few times a week), the same thing happened although this time there was about 2 litres left in the tank. I was hoping it was just some bad fuel or something that would get diluted so filled it up again, after I pushed it to a station. It happened again today and this time there's about 3 liters in the tank left. I filled it up to full and it started/runs fine, but I'm sure I'm going to have same problem very soon. Any suggestions? Thanks

Something is wrong with the fuel supply. Since you have flow thru the return pipe it means that the problem is either in the pressure regulator or the injector .
To check them you will need to do 2 tests:
1 - to determine the location of the fault detach the fuel line from the injector, put it in a can and try to start the engine - if the fuel squirts with pressure then the regulator is good and you need to test the injector itself;
2 - connect the fuel line back to the injector, put a multimeter across the contacts and check the voltage when you try to start the engine - if it shows less than 6 volts you have an electrical problem (either a faulty wiring or a defective ECM); if it shows over 6 volts you have a clogged injector - the entire fuel system will have to be cleaned.

I ride about 10 miles then my electronics start to cut out

Check the cam pickup on the nose cone on the right side of your engine. With time, they go bad because of all the heat cycles they go thru. Works fine when the bike is cool, but when it heats up, the bike cuts out and runs bad and the speedo will jump around. If this is the problem, after you replace it, the bike will need to be timed.

A leaking carb may allow liquid fuel into the combustion chamber, this cannot be compressed & so leads to the engine locking up (hydraulic lock) Check the carb floats are working & are set to the right height

Did you put a new battery in it? If not have it load tested and replace if needed. Check the grounds and make sure they are clean and tight. Check the stator by going to the plug on the right front down tube, with a muti meter take a reading with the bike running on the side that goes back toward the engine, I forget the values but you should get a reading at idle and then as you rev the motor the reading should climb. If all of the above check out OK the problem will be your voltage regulator.

06 Road King Classice shuts off when in 4th gear beloe 50mph

It's normal for the check engine light to take from 0 to a couple seconds to turn off. The computer runs a system check. Put an oil pressure gauge on the bike and watch it closely. If your pressure drops when the bike loses power, the engine may be locking up from lack of oil. Another possibility is your lean-angle cut-off switch is defective. The switch cuts power to the bike in case you lay it down. Harley also has had problems with their fuel injection system losing power for no apparent reason.

I got on the highway and for about 25 miles my engine kept (stalling/cutting out?) and then coming back on again after a few seconds. The engine light would come on the rpms would drop off for about 1 second and then the engine would come back on again. Almost like it was running out of gas but there was plenty of gas left. It happened about 10 times and when I finally got to a gas station I filled it up again on premium. On the way back home the stalling problem happened one time and then I had no problems after that. Has anyone else had this problem with regular 87 octane gasoline? By the way I ride a 695 with a Termignoni exhaust system. The engine was cold when the stalling started happening but kept occurring even when the temp was running 212. I would appreciate any comments and advice.I've never heard of anyone having issues like that from lower octane and I never have with my carbed bike. I'd rather think you got a bit of water somewhere...possibly in the regular fuel...or it was already in the tank and the fuel is just a confusing factor. Use a little dry-gas and try it again.,,,
