SOURCE: 1990 Yamaha Virago 535 Parts interchangeable with 2001 virago 250

Sure mirrors, nuts, bolts and screws. Maybe a fender and a bit of other stuff. But for the most part not much will match up and now you have this ugly monster in your garage and your next job is to figure out exactly how you are going to get rid of the da-- thing. Look a bit harder and get a match for your bike. Now you have something worthwhile.

A “very helpful” rating for this answer? Thanks!

SOURCE: My brake cylinder seems to be missing a part or is

Have you got any signs of fluid leaking? Take of the master cylinder cap and check the level. If this is ok try the folowing:
Bleed the brakes - simple, loads of methods on the net.
Clamp the hose just before the master cylinder. Do you get pressure at the lever? If yes, the master cylinder is working and the problem may be with the caliper.
If you are not happy with working on the brakes, take it to a mechanic, you dont want to get it wrong,
Good luck

Moen banbury faucet repair

I had a look at the installation guide and exploded diagram, It seems that the whole assembly will be tightened when the mounting nut is put on.

The links to the installation guide and exploded diagram are:

Extract sheared off exhaust bolt from the front head of motor with our taking the whole bike apart

Bummer! I feel your pain. Here's the deal, you need that part jigged up on a machinists bench. The drilling is a one shot deal, and it looks like the bolt may be harder than the surrounding material. Wants to be drill pressed for accuracy.

Miss and the component is ruined, usually.

Spring assembly for chain brake

Re building the brake is a skilled job, you need to know what you are doing or the brake could fail to function in a kick back situation, my advise would be to purchase a complete brake assembly and fit, i can go through the re build if you feel confident to do it, but there could also be parts missing if somebody else has taken it apart. The part no. for the brake complete is 530054736.

My bike got crushed by the garage door: back linear tektro bent to side and wheel spokes broke, wheel looks bent. Is this a costly repair? Ladies wildwood. Thank-you.

What's the whole bike cost? Normally every part of the bike except the frame is replaceable economically - which is subjective.

Tektro brakes or equivalent - cheap; wheel - probably cheaper than a rebuild; labor - unknown.

If the frame or the brake bosses are bent - fuhgetaboudit. Take it to a Bike Shop for evaluation. They can just hang new wheels on it and see how straight everything else is.

My grandsons 6sp mountain bike stopped shifting. being a "man" who can fix anything I decided to take it apart. HELP the shifter is a falcon MLG26i. I've pretty well figured the cable...

STOP!!! Take it to a bike shop. You will probably need a new shifter now that parts are missing. In all likelihood it was never the shifter it was probably a poorly adjusted derailer which is a very easy fix. Unless you want to spend a hunk money on bike specific tools a book to show you how to use the tools, and the parts that need to be replaced, I suggest you take it to your local bike shop.

I have a 1988 Honda CBR 1000 Hurricane and i broke the throttle end off. I am trying to fix it but it wont lay back in the cradle right. Any suggestions?

If your talking about the handle bar end, switch assembly, throttle tube, grip. Hard to find used parts, Look for a doner bike, part it out and send the rest to the bone yard. While your taking it apart, you're also reverse engineering and you'll have boxes of spare parts. Or new parts. I like Bike Bandit.com because they have parts diagrams like everyone, but, they show avalable parts and those that you can't get any more. Others don't show the difference. I hope it helps,
