Hi depending on the condition of the engine components such as seals crank bearings head gasket etc. Start with cheacking the carb for water/dirt in the carb of stale fuel if the motorcycle has been sitting for some time because old gas will clog the slow speed circuit in the carb.

I CANT FIND THE OIL DRAIN PLUG ON 2003 RM85. I LOOKED UNDERNEATH AND I DONT SEE A DRAIN BOLT.


On the right of the engine crankcase (as sat on the bike) there is the oil filler cap. Further down under a pipe is a drain screw. This is what you are looking for.
Numbers 6 and 14 of the attached (hopefully) link.

try a smaller main jet,use good 2stroke oil,i use klotz or yamalube

Try changing the sparh plug, cleaning the air filter and adjusting the carb.

No because the RM125 body is way bigger than a DRZ125. A DRZ125 is about the size of an RM85.
