Question about Motorcycles
Hi mate sorry to say KTM's are just awkward, if you mean the engine mount bolts ??? then I have noticed this also is a drama last few I have removed motor I had to wiggle and adjust the motor until everything was all perfectly squared up or they just wont slip all the way out. Persistance and swearing helps a lot but basically just need to support the motor in perfect position at same time as pulling out the bolts. They do come out easy when you find the motors favourite position. cheers mate www.motoxpartsonline.com

Hi, I just had same prob with a mates 07 450sx and it happened when riding it, when i pulled it down i noticed the timing was out. It was a little low on oil and i think what happened was hydrolic cam chain adjuster let go and it spun a couple teeth on exhaust cam. i redone timing and it turned ova fine so i pulled head off and checked valves and they were fine some how and now its goin great. hope this helps and hope your lucky enough not to bend valves. the bike shop told him $2000 at least before even lookin at it.

I'd start with simple things like checking the plug and doing a few electrical tests. Some tests you may be able to do yourself like resistance checks.Compare the following spec with what you get ; Primary coil . 25~35 0hms Secondary 5050~7550 Valve clearance inlet 0.10~0.15 exuast 0.15~0.20 both cold and in mm.

Since you have taken the clutch side casing off you now need to align the balancer shaft. Put engine at TDC and the balancer weight facing downwards.
