SOURCE: fuse box

The main fuse is under the panel on the right side behind the forks and the rest of the fuses are in the crank case under the cover...where you fill the oil.

Could be a bad starter push button, poor connection in wiring, bad safety switch.Need to track down with voltmeter if you can.

SOURCE: Suzuki intruder 1500 charging system

You need to buy a volt meter and set it on 10, or 20 v-. Start the bike and see what it says. A good charging system will show 13-14+ volts. If the meter says 11-12 volts or does not change, you have a bad stator, or rect/reg. Take to a shop to have it further tested. Chaz Moto DC

Hi, Mo and the usual suspects are:
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Discharged battery, needs to be 12.5 volts or better and be able to pass a "LOAD" test, your battery may show 12.5 volts but has little or zero amps and must be replaced.
4. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter.
5. Bank angle sensor needs a reset or is faulty.
6. FOB battery low or dead.
7. Faulty ignition switch.
8. Faulty starter button.
9. Faulty kickstand or clutch pull in switch/sensor.
10. Security alarm needs a reset.
11. Starter relay, solenoid or starter circuit wiring faulty.
12. Starter armature or field coils have failed.
13. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
14. The electric starter is working but starter clutch has failed.
15. Check for engine trouble codes.

Starter will not turn over.votage to starter is 8 volts. new starter relay. 2001 1500

Sounds like you have some bad cells in your battery. Charge your battery and have it load tested. Check the voltage of your battery with ohm meter. Running the wrong voltage through your electrical system can damage some of the delicate electronics. You can jump your cycle from an automotive/car battery but do not have the car running. The car charging system can damage the motorcycle electrical system. If you push the starter button and the solenoid clicks , the starter button is good. If you jump the two battery terminals on the solenoid and the starter works, the solenoid is bad. If you hold the starter button and tap on the starter with a plastic hammer and the starter now works, then you need to replace the starter brushes. If there is anything else wrong with the starter you will have to replace the starter assembly, the manufacturer does not sell replacement parts for the starters.

Hi, Topgunadpro before testing any electrical component in the Starter Circuit it is "IMPERATIVE" that you have a fully charged battery of 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test because your battery may have 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amps causing the battery to be faulty and must be replaced, especially "AGM" batteries.
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.

How do I test for a bad solenoid on a 1994 Suzuki Intruder vs800

I'm assuming when you press the start button will not turn over. Look for the solonoid ( Relay) and you will see two heavy guage wire one goes to starter and the other to the battery terminal positive. Where the two wires meet at the relay jump with a heavy wire 10 guage it will by pass the relay if it starts your relay is bad.

Make sure your battey is hot bike in nuetral and clutch lever squeezed
