Hello thor67...your wing should hold 300cc's per side.
Tip: suggest useing 15wt fork oil instead of the ATF that mother Honda recommends.

Yes , the oil seal is available from Honda. If too much air pressure is put into the shock it is not uncommon for the seal to pop. A 5wt or 10wt shock oil should work just fine. Consider changing the oil in the other shock also.

I HAVE A 1982 HONDA GOLDWING GL ASPACDE 1100CC. I BROKE THE TIMING BELT ONTHE RIGHT SIDE . I REPLACE WITH BOLTH NEEW BELTS . I PUL THEM ON . I DIDNT DO MY HOME WORK AND I BROKE A VALVE ON MY RIGHT SIDE I PUT ON A NEW HEAD WITH NEW GASKET. IWENT TO THE BOOK TO PUT IT BACK IN TIME I TOOK OFF TIMING COVER AND TURN IT TO IT IS FOR LEFT SIDE WITH MARK ON PULLY MATCH .PUT LEFT SIDE BELT ON . THAN I TURN MOTOR TO2T ONTIMING MARK THAN I TURN RIGHT SIDE PULLY TO MARK . PUT TIMING BELT ON . TRY TO START IT BY BUMPING STARTER IHAVE ALL PLUGS OUT .TO SEE IF IT WOULD WORK. IT TURN A LITTLE BIT AND LOCK UP . I TURN IT BACK WEARDS IT WOULD GOBACK SO FAR .WHAT AM I DOING WRONGE PLEASE TELL ME . DANNY

You can get a knock if the octane rating is too low. But more likely, because there is ethanol in the fuel you are using. Try a tank of no ethanol fuel if it is available in your area. You may want to replace your spark plug caps they may be robbing of the spark you need at take off. They simply unscrew off of the end of the wires. They should read 5000 OHM's no higher , no lower. If you purchase new NGK brand plug caps they will only cost about $5 each.
