Question about 2005 Hyosung GT 250
As long as I am contantly accelerating and breaking, city traffic, the bike is responsive and bad ***. Once on the highway in 5th gear it won'tlast about 1 to 2 minutes before it begins to choke little by little until I've come to a complete stop. Where can I control the amount of air to gas ratio, i think it might be getting too much gas when the throttle is all the way or close to all the way down for a long period of time. This bike was bought after it had been without use for a couple of months, maybe a year. Ive used about 3 to 4 gas tanks worth since I got it early december. The first time I rode it in november i took it for a long ride to a dealer to have it checked and it made the trip there and back without this problem. What could have changed?
Hi ..... Lots of variables on this one. Pull the petrol pipe from the carb(s) and ensure you have a stong/steady stream of petrol. Remove the spark plugs and have a look at their colour, should be a light tan. The petrol tank has a breather hole near the petrol filler OR through the filler itself make sure this is clear and unabstructed.
Let me know how you get on.
