Run a jumper from your battery positive to a long lead and remove the key switch. only one wire powers up the bike. use a probe to find it. when the bike powers up the dash, then you should be able to start with a remote starter switch

Spark plug gap for 750 1994 ninja?????

Recall mine - zx7r 1996 was 0.9 to 1.1 mm. My Ninja ran very very nicely on the irridium or splitfires too. (Found that on hot days after running a while - turned off then trying to fire up after only minutes it really didnt wanna start. grrrrrr. Better plugs sorted this but I do appreciate some find these splitfires / irridum etc a bit of a gimmick. I found them bob on tbh.

I have a 2001 zx6 kawasaki the fuel pump wont come on when its plugged into the harness but it works if i jump it from the battery this bike as been wrecked and hasent been started since the wreck is it...

The Ninja has a fuel pump circuit, have you checked the relay? This is usually the problem, the connector melts or breaks, as you can see here in this picture...also check your fuses. Hope this helps.

Why wont my brake light work when I push the rear brake but will when I push the front brake? I checked the switch with an ohm meter and switch is open without pushing pedal and when pedal is pushed it...

Oh yeah, I've run into this before. The ohm meter says the rear brake switch is good but the light says different because it won't light. The switch is indeed bad. What happens is the switch says it's good when checked with the ohm meter because the meter is designed not load the circuit being tested. The light on the other hand, puts a load on the switch and the resistance of the switch will not allow enough current to pass through. Replace the rear brake switch and your light will probably work.

Good Luck

I just bought an 1986 FZ 750. I need parts

Just restored a yammy and found wemoto site excellent. Just enter wemoto/yamaha or into search engine and go from there. Secondhand stuff is generally ebay or wrecking depots/warehouses.

1992 ZXR 250 Ninja locked ignition & brakelight stuck on

Try jiggling the handle bars as you turn the key to relieve the pressure off the ignition lock. The kawasaki's have one position past the off "Lock" position that is called the "Acc" this will leave your brake light on. So the key switch goes "Acc", "Lock", "On". Make sure your key is in the Lock position and not the Accesory position

Brake light does not always work with front brake - Ninja 250

Check the wiring connections to the front brake switch. If all OK, then it could be the switch.
