My Fathers bike won't start. He seems to think it is from a car bumping him at a red light. It is doing the same thing it did when he laid it down, seems to think it may be the bendix gear, any info would be great.

If I'm not mistaken, I think the fuses are under the seat on these bikes... Not 100% sure but, on the older Shadows and Magnas and those type of bikes, the fuse panel slides into the side of a plastic cover. This would be right on top of the rear fender, under the seat if this the type of bike I'm thinking of. Good Luck!

First thing you want to do is check your spark plug gap. Improperly gapped plugs can cause a non-start. If all is good there, check the compression. The fuel-air mixture needs proper compression to ignite.
