If the neutral light is not on, try pulling in the clutch and cranking the bike. Also check the kill switch on the bike, that will also keep it from cranking although that should not affect the neutral indicator. If the neutral indicator isn't working you may have to get into the transmission to repair it.

Hi, I parked my 1995 Isuzu turck Fvr 900 curtainsider a month ago. Now when I start (even after putting fully charged batteries) It wont start? Any suggestions, what & where to check

what crank or cranks but will not starts.
well do the head lights work and all other lights?>
jump cable starts on huge diesels take huge cables and off major
source, like other running truck.

all you can is.
check fuses.
check battery lugs for green corrosion. clean them.
charge the battery
get it up to 12.6vdc reseted or more,.
make sure you try cranking in neutral .
I can not decode your first paragraph, no commas, or periods.
"It doesnt show any light turns on inside cabin and looks like no current supply is through?"

what does that mean?

if you parked it for 30 days with a load on somewhere
the battery may be now toasted. (sulfated bad)

Car wont crank over fron ignition andit cranks over when jumping the starter but still wont start

Could be your ignition switch itself not relaying to coil. I dont know vehicle specifics but there should be a wire from coil to dash, on fords it is red and baby blue if I remember right. Check this it may be grounding itself out.

It won't start: new battery, have lights, it just clicks when you turn the ignition switch

you mean it wont crank, it must crank to start.
1: bad starter system
2: weak battery even a new battery can be weak.
if you dont charge it first.
or if it starts ok then wont later, that means cars charge system failure.

can you jump start engine? with jumper cables.
that be a big clue there, proving starter works but battery was weak.
if the battery is fully charged.
you can hot wire the starter solenoid, (tiny terminal)
if car cranks now, the key start wire is failing.
A/T or M/T tranny? both use different path here....??????

if you cant hot wire it, then that means the stater is bad
the cables bad or the battery is not really connected.
or possible the engine is seized, can you hand turn over the engine at the front crank bolt (CW , facing rear, in neutral)
if not motor is seized.
some times even the starter and rig gear can be seized.
the starter can be bench tested. too.

Engine will not crank, cables and battery are clean and fully charged.

HI there rktrogstad did you check if you have power at the starter if
so. then you need your starter replaced .
IF no power at starter then you need to check neutral safety switch
one fast way to check is wail holding ignition switch in the crank position
move trans shift liver from park to neutral .if starter cranks replace neutral
switch .OK
good luck vote

Power getting to stater but wont crank over

No mention of model...so these are general comments.

First, when you say there is power to the starter, do you mean the actual starter or the starter relay (or starter solenoid). On most Yamahas there is power to the starter solenoid from the battery at all times.....power leaves the relay to the actual starter motor only when the key is on, the interlocks are satisfied and the starter button is pushed.

So if you actually are getting power at the starter motor and no rotation, and the battery is fully charged you have either a starter motor issue or an internal engine/clutch problem. Is the bike physically in neutral ...rear wheel spins? Remove spark plugs and attempt to rotate engine with kick starter if equipped, or access rotor bolt and rotate with socket...if it rotates fine...remove starter motor and inspect,

If the starter relay is not sending power to starter motor....check Kill switch is in ENGINE RUN position, bike is in neutral, and indicated on dash, and retry. If you have no neutral light showing, but it is in neutral, you need to flip the sidestand up...pull in the clutch and retryt....as there is a sidestand switch and a clutch switch that are part of in gear starting interlocks.
No neutral light indication requires testing of the neutral switch aand wiring but tryt to get the bike running first.

try starting car in park and in neutral.if it still wont crank check battery has at least 13 volts if possible load test battery. check battery cables make sure conecting ends are clean . check terminals on starter also IF .starter still does not turn remove starter. have starter checked at auto parts store usually at no charge.

Battery died after braking lights woulnt turn off had battery recharged now it wont crank also replaced 120v fused

Hi,
Sorry to hear your having trouble,
First let's get brake lights to turn off. For now - just remove the bulbs DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR LIKE THIS - -this is just for repair purposes.

Now be sure the battery is fully charged. Install the battery and turn the head lights on. They should be VERY BRIGHT. If the battery is truly charged to it's fullest.

You do not say what kind of car so I will post this and ask you to confirm you are attempting this much - please do this and get back to me:

1- Place the fully charged battery in the automobile.
2- Set the emergency brake at it's fullest
3- With all lights off and the brake light bulbs removed [ for test purpose]
4- Place the transmission in neutral
5-Turn the key and start the vehicle.
6- Get back to me with further comment or question.

Thanks

Rice

My car won't start, I turn the key and absolutely nothing happens, no crank, no noise whatsoever. The lights work, the radio works, the fan comes on, the only thing I noticed was when I check the battery...

try shifting it to neutral then see if it will start if it does then you have a bad gear position switch if not could be a bad starter or ignition switch

Car doesn't start

If your battery is fully charged and the starter is new then you could have a neutral safety switch problem. Will it crank in neutral?
