How many litres of oil does a 2007 Yamaha Roadliner take?? Thanks Guy

The manual says that the bike holds 5.18 US quarts WITH a filter change. I change the filter with every oil change. If you don't intend to remove the filter, make sure you know your fluid capacities.

The instruction calls for putting in half the oil - 2.6 quarts - into the bike (make sure you replace the filler cap!), starting the bike and giving it a few revs to circulate the oil. Shut off the bike and add the rest of the oil.

How do I change the battery in a 2006 Roadliner

First find out where it is located. Then remove the necessary parts to get at it. Seat, plastic panels etc. Unfasten the bolt for the battery box, then unscrew the battery terminals and remove the batt.

I explained here in detail... but that was hard, as this is literally the simplest thing to do on any motorcycle.

Where is the location of the drain plug for the transmission? where is the filler location and what is the volume ?

To the best of my knowledge Roadliners are no different than other bikes, the motor and transmission share the same oil. When you drain and change the engine oil you are also draining and changing the transmission oil. To be on the safe side you may want to cosult your dealer. Good luck

I have a 2007 Yamaha Roadliner. I wanted to change the oil, so I took out the drain plugs and the oil filter, and the oil in the crank case came out. I took the cap off the reservoir, but the oil is not...

There is a check valve that prevents reservior oil from draining into the crankcase. Most oil reservoirs have a drain bolt of their own. Look closely and you may just find it.

My husband keeps paying $190 to have "professionals" change the oil in his 2006 yamaha roadliner, because he's been told it's difficult to do. He does all the maintenance on our other vehicles... He needs...

It is a bit more complicated than just removing a drain plug. $190 for an oil change is a rip-off in my opinion. The best thing to do is to order a factory service manual from a Yamaha dealer. It will cost $50 or so but the first oil change that Hubby does will more than pay for the manual. Get him one and say " Happy Birthday Dear ". Please rate my answer. Thanks.

06 Roadliner sparkplug

Below the tank there should be about 4 bolts holding the tank to the frame, loosen then and lift the tank enough from seat side, you should be able to access the wiring and plugs.

Can i lower the seat height of my 2006 roadliner?

best way is to take your cover off your seat and shave it down about 2-3 inches...then put some memory foam in it and recover...its more comfortable and it will lower your seat height.

I also have an 06 Roadliner. I use 20w50 Lucas sythetic motorcycle oil with great results. Will later switch to Rotell T Synthetic 5w40 (Dark Blue Jug at Walmart) as it costs alot less than Lucas.

How do you adj this cutch it just started sliping 2006 yamaha roadliner s 18000 miles

if it is cable operated you want to adjust at the clutch perch (where the lever is mounted on) to where you have about an 8th inch of play before you feel the tension of the clutch in the lever. if that dosent do it change your oil if you havent done so already and if that dosent do it then the clutch is probably toast.
