if you want to download games for the PSP i would recomend for you to visit the PSP website ffor more detials, you also need to provide the PSP site with an Account so you are then able to purchase the games for your PSP.

the most likely cause is that your battery is fried and cannot hold a charge. i know that the psp slims are a fairly old model and this is a highly likely possibility so i recomend purchasing a new battery from the sony store or from Sony's website

You need custom Frimware, and a pandora battery and magic memory stick, i suggest buying these, but if your a handiman you gotta
Pandora battery: (dont recomend doing youself) You have to get a normal psp battery, then you have to open it up, And cut a tiny wire on the black chip piece

Game itself:You have to find a site that lets you download the games

Getting Game from pc to psp: You have to make a folder called GAME (all capitals in the psp file in your psp)
Now, you have to get the game and put it into the GAME folder inside the Psp folder in the psp

Get psp to connect to computer: go to your psp put a usb connecting the psp to the computer, and go to usb mode on your psp

When you say you can't cahrge it, do you mean on your PC, PS3 or with the charger? I don't think the PS3 charges the PSP, I have no idea about the PC, but if the PSP doesn't charge using it's charger, it is either the battery, the charger, or the psp charger outlet. If it is the battery, buy a new one. If it is the charger outlet, it is a good idea to have 2 working batteries and to buy an external charger at game crazy, game stop, or from sony. This way, you can switch out batteries while playing, like me :). If it is the charger, buy a new one.
I would suggest first trying to buy a new battery. If it works, you are good to go and your old battery was broken, otherwise your charger/ charger outlet is broken. Buy an external charger. Then, you will be able to charge the batteries while one is in the PSP.
A new battery and an external charger cost about $70, but it is worth it. I hope i helped.

I would think that would be battery problem. Did you buy the PSP new or used?
If used I would buy a new battery and try that. If new reurn it or send it back to sony.

How old is your battery? You may want to think about buying a new one as it may be on it's way out. Even if it is fairly new you might have a lemon of a battery. It happens at times. IF your psp is new and your battery is doing this you should contact sony and see if they can replace your battery for free or a nominal charge.

ok your son's psp has malfunctioned and instead of trying to charge the batteries it drained them. i would recomend for u to get ur son a new psp and buy a another battery for your daughter.

there is a newer battery being sold that you put AA batteries inside
to make it work. check out your local best buy and wal*mart

I have similar issue too.. I was replacing a crack lcd screen in my psp. After i finished installing the new lcd, turned it on, there was sound but no picture.. Can anyone tell me what could've caused that?
