Remove the seat batt is hiding right there, make a short lead with a plug female on the end that will hook to your batt, make another lead with coresponding plug male (male female)to hook to charger and you will never have a dead battery agin when done riding plug up the trickle charger PS make the lead under the seat long enough that it will hang out so you dont have to remove seat everytime

Hi,
It is located below your seat. Just try open your seat or from sides of bike. Check the AH of battery and replace it with similar one.

How do I take the seat off to charge the battery?

Take off the side panels, I believe 2 screws each, then pop off the "buttons" that hold them in. On each side, there's a screw for the seat. Remove them, slide the seat back, and you have access to the battery.

Are the spark plugs easy access to change

I haven't worked on a ninja of this year, but most sport bikes this year require you to remove the seat, then tank, then air box, and the spark plugs should be accessable at that point. It's not difficult, but usually takes a couple hours if you're being careful. Make sure your gentle with the fuel lines.

Where is battery located on the 04 kawasaki zx12r ninja

To get to the battery you have to remove your Passenger and Rider Seat and Gas Tank Cover. You will see a small panel on the right side of the bike unbolt it and slide out the battery tray.
