Do I need a new print head?

5 flashes indicates a faulty printhead or possibly a problem with the p/head contacts. Try removing the head which is easier if you take the cartridges out first(no tools required) and re-seat it having checked the contacts for dirt.

Friend your printer has reached to its printing limit. Its printer has a maximum of printing point it is registered in the printer memory. When it reach to its limit it will stop. To solve this problem you need to use CSS Utility Software so that you can make the printer reset then you can print again. You can download for just type CSSutility software in google or yahoo. then download.

CANON S400 PRINTING PROBLEM

What printer do you have? Clean heads, clean heads, clean heads, etc. Then do the test print to see if the heads are open. I had similar problem with an Epson, had to clean the heads often, finally got to where the heads wouldn't clean so threw it away and bought another one (HP this time, the heads are included in the ink carts, haven't had to clean the heads at all.)

Printer Canon 6100

If you are getting 6 beeps and the yellow light is flashing 6 times, it usually means that the waste tank is full. This is a large peice of sponge placed at the bottom of the case. It is difficult to get out and I am not aware of replacements being made available from Canon. You will need to wash it.
