There has to be a bleed nipple on both calipers - its impossible to bleed a two calipers on separate sides of the bike with two brake lines with one bleed nipple - go back and have another better look.
this is the best way of starting your bike yes not the only, pull your clutch in and you can start it as will, if not your clutch switch is bad. If you have any other questions feel free to ask M.Woodring
Check the following:
Steering head bearings for play and looseness
Front and rear tire pressures
Front and rear wheel bearings for wear
Rear fork bearings
Also check over tires for irregular wear patterns that might be contributing to the loose feeling.
You may want to see if there is any brake dust or dirt getting in the way of the sensor first. I would take a water hose and spray water where the front and rear sensors are just to see if they are dirty and not getting a good clean signal (just the sensor and brake area, not the whole bike). You may also want to be sure the connectors are plugged in properly and the contacts in the connectors are alright and not corroded. But first I'd make sure the brake calipers and sensors are cleaned. Then the connectors if they are located where water or dirt can easily get inside them. It's the easy stuff I'd check first.
