What kind of oil do i put in my 2007crf 450 both

There is no transmission oil ... engine and transmission share the same oil ... Depends on your riding as to the grade. You might consider joining the Honda Riders Club at http://hrca.honda.com/ for tons of information on your motorcycle and events in your area.,

Use either the Honda 4-stroke engine oil, or any quality brand of automotive engine oil. In either case, make sure you select the viscosity that is correct for the temperature ranges in your area.

Which side of engine does oil go in on a crf 250 honda

the two side....honda is the only compagny that used separate transmission and engine oil (crf 250 and crf 450). the left side is the engine oil and the right side is the transmission. i recommend 5100 motul on the engine and motul 3000 10w40 on the transmission side (motul 3000 is not a transmission oil but it works on fourstroke that normally mix it up to getter ) d,ont forget to replace filter ....hope this will help,if so ....leave me good feedback please.

Solution for "i have a 2005 crf 230 f and i dont know what kind of oil to use"

Use 10w40 motor oil in the gear box. Don't use any synthetic oils, oil marked "EC", or oil with "special" additives. Stick with the major brands; Pennzoil, Quaker State, Mobil or Shell. If in a hot area like Texas or New Mexico go with 20w50.

Use 10w40 motor oil in the gear box. It takes .7 liters / .74 quarts. The stock spark plug is an NGK CR7HSA.
