Does the washer currently work fine aside from the loud clunking noise? Does the clunking noise continue or is it just one loud clunk when it starts to spin? If its just one loud clunk then that is not a problem just ignore it as that is the clutch spring releasing, it probably starting making noise from the grease getting washed off when the washer over filled. However how did the washer overfill? That issue should be addressed too. Sometimes though, if the tub is not centered from a heavy load the water will spill over the back but its not really an overfill.
Check that your cutting module has not fallen out of it's holder. I had this issue the other day and the cutting module had just fallen off the printhead.
The OIL plug is on the bottom of the mower. The fill port should be on the side of the engine. That CLUNK you heard was probably one of 2 things. If you hit something in the grass the flywheel key most likely sheared and will need replaced. If you were using it and did not hit anything then most likely the piston rod broke. If the rod broke the engine would be difficult to turn or... would turn like there was no compression. If it turns normally then once again it is probably the flywheel key has sheared on the top of the crankshaft under the flywheel nut.
That's usually mounts inside the compressor. It could still last awhile so if you can put up with the noise just wait for it to quit before replacing the compressor or getting a new fridge.
