Trying to blled brakesa after installing new line - still soft
Always bleed brakes from farthest from master cylinder to closert- so it would be pass rear wheel. then drivers rear, then front pass and last front driver if it is still solt, you still have air and bkeed all again
- 1)push pedal to floor2) open valve to let air and fluid out
3) close the valve with pedal down- if you let it up it will suck in more air- make sure master cylinder is full at all times good luck and take your time- 2 person job- happy trails
This is best way i know is to fill resevoire with fluid open all bleeders up let it start dripping out of them keeping fluid full in resivoire do this until bleeders leaking real good then shut all bleeders put cap on master cylinder crank car check feel of brakes now if pedal still soft then bleed brakes with car not running check again with car running still soft bleed again with car running
SOURCE: how to bleed brakes
Sounds like the proportioning valve is stuck. You may need to break a front bleeder loose and hit the pedal the unseat the valve. Then blead the rearbrakse and then bleed the wheel where you broke the bleeder loose. That should work.
Good Luck
SOURCE: stability system
the service stability light as well as the abs light is all conected to the wheel sensor. To fix it is simple if you kn,w how to do a brake job,it is all conected to the hub assembly. I replaced both front wheel sensors due to that problem. you can by the hub assembly for around 100.00 dollars at auto zone. the wire that connects to the wheel always breaks and these codes come up.

I am a hydraulic technician and I can tell you that air is a killer in the hydraulic system.
Start from the rear and work your way forward. I f you are using the two person method, make sure the second person keeps the master cylinder full. If the fluid level dropped anywhere in between pressing and releasing the brakes....you have a lot of air in the system.
Make sure you are tightening the bleed valve when the brake pedal is full pressed.
Remeber...start from the rear brakes first, then do the front.

I have taken a picture of the fuse panel diagram and can send it to anyone if given an email address. Photo is to large to upload here and I don't know how to shrink it!
