Try backing the fuel screw on the bottom of the carb out to about three turns out from lightly seated.if this doesnt help or you see no change bump your pilot jet up probally about one to two sizes

How do you remove the glove box from 2001 mazda mpv

I have a 2002 MPV, they say that you are to slide it to the left and pull the right pin out, then slide to the right and it will come out. I must have a 2001 assembly, this wasn't even remotely possible. After tinkering for a while I realized that the left side on the bottom has a "c" clip; just open the glove compt. door and give a good pull on the bottom left side, the whole thing will pop right out. Once you pull it out there will be a long horizontal clip in the back there, open that up (there's a release on the left) and your cabin air filter is hiding out in there. :)

Where do you check the oil on 2001 honda xr 650

To get an accurate reading on your oil level , you have to start the motorcycle engine and run it for a at least 5 minutes longer if it is cold outside . A short drive works good. Then unscrew the dipstick on the frame above the tank , wipe it off , make sure the bike is level (upright) and put the dipstick back in till it seats(but do not screw it in). Now take it out and read the level. Top up as necessary but do not over fill. Use only JASO MA certified motorcycle oil. 10w-40 for cooler climates. 20w-50 for warmer conditions. Any oil that says Energy conserving on the label will shorten the life of your wet clutch and transmission gears. Synthetic oil help your bike run cooler and shift easier. 0w40 Amzoil runs great in my 1996 XR 400 Honda.

Replaced bulb but now won't light up

The pop you heard was not likely the lamp but a part in either the main power supply or the ballast. This is not a DIY repair. I would suggest that you get a repair estimate from a local service shop. My first inclination is that the ballast has failed.

The ballast is part number: DSETUD147FMF9
Total cost: $285 with a core of $120. This means that upon the return of the "bad" ballast, you will be refunded $120 making hte final cost $165 for the part.

Hope this helps,
Dan

How do I pop the head on a worlpool top loder with raise head

unplug the machine
On top of the machine is the console there should be one screw on the left and and and one on the right side(at back sometime front where console appears to set on top of main cabinet) remove them... Then you should be able fold the bottom of the console up and back out of the way. There should be 2 brass clips on left and right stick a flat screwdriver in the front slot to release clips. Disconnect wires for lid switch. Tilt cabinet forward and remove....

XR650 MOTOR

the countershaft seal can be pried out easily, just dont do much damage to seal surfaces(on the motor).

as to your jetting problem, put the clip on the main needle back to "stock".

and buy several "main"jets,larger,and,smaller.
"jet-tests"MUST be done after a high-speed test(check sparkplug color,should be "tan")

poping, most all the time (on bikes)is caused by an air-leak somewhere along the exhaust system,

ALSO,when you change:
cams,
airbox,
exhaust's
--it's a GIVEN to re-jet the carb!!
