Hi ..... Changing the clutch is pretty straight forward, get a manual and read it through a couple of times just to get it straight in your own mind. Make sure you have a good quality socket set and a clean place to work. Are you simply changing the clutch plates (& springs) ? Or a complete clutch including the clutch basket ?

Sometimes you need to adjust your clutch cable. as the disks wear out you have to tighten it to get it to disengage. if the cable is adjusted too tight then it will slip because it is not taking all the pressure off the disks so they can fully grab. That is where i would start

My yamaha wr450 2012 is sliping jolting in 5gear, sort off like when ya ride the clutch or brake in a car, what may the problam be

Most of time it's a bummer. One of the "forks" inside the transmission is bent or broke and not engaging the gears far enough.
You can go through a clutch adjustment, there's slim chance it's not disengaging the clutch all the way. When your clutch handle is out there should be an 1/8 inch slack to ensure it's fully out. Lube up the linkage and be sure the cable is working smooth.
It may help, sure worth a try.

How do you adj this cutch it just started sliping 2006 yamaha roadliner s 18000 miles

if it is cable operated you want to adjust at the clutch perch (where the lever is mounted on) to where you have about an 8th inch of play before you feel the tension of the clutch in the lever. if that dosent do it change your oil if you havent done so already and if that dosent do it then the clutch is probably toast.
