Out of 9 sensor that would shut the injection off, I for got to set the tip-over sensor up straight.it for when the bike ever tip-over it cut off current supplied to the fuel pump, fuel injectors, and ignition coils.

2004 v star brake light works but the rear tail light does not light up at all, the bulb is good.

Hi, Albert tail light issues are relatively easy to diagnose and repair always check the tail light fuse first and make sure you have power on both sides of the fuse holder and the usual suspects are:
1. Tail light bulb element is broken.
2. Tail light bulb soldered contacts are extremely worn down.
3. Tail light bulb socket corroded.
4. Tail light bulb socket has no power and or ground.
5. Tail light wiring harness damaged from the rear tire.
6. Tail light rear fender wiring harness connector faulty due to corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets.

Hi Randy, the fuses are located right behind the battery underneath a black plastic box like cover that slides right off when you pull up on it. Good luck

1998 valkrie wont turn over

Your battery is most likely the cause. The tail light and dash light do not draw much juice from the battery. However the headlight and starter are a different story. Are you absolutely sure you turned everything off before you took your break? If you are and you don't ride your bike a lot you should get a trickle charger for it. Use it when not riding. It will prevent you battery from completely losing it's charge thus protecting the battery.
If you do ride often then you should have the battery tested. You may need a new one. Remember that once a battery has been drained too low, permanent damage can occur.
