I have Exmark Lazer Z XS, 25 HP Kubota diesel with 72" deck, 450 total hours, this is 3rd electric clutch to burn up. Last time (20 hours ago) the manufacture said they diagnosed grounding problem with aluminum motor mounts. They added a kit with new motor mounts, wire harness, and several other things. Since getting back the retrofit kit they installed had bolt rubbing mule drive belt, which broke the belt. Their fix was to remove the bolt that was rubbing and add spacer on shaft to push clutch out about 1/8 inch. Since then (20 hours) the bolt holding clutch has backed out 3 times, causing main fuse to blow. Clutch extremely hot each time. I removed spacer, ran for 30 min, now clutch won't engage. Checked switch and have 12.4 V at end of plug that attaches to clutch, so it's getting power. Any ideas on why clutch is getting so hot, and now won't work (probably burnt up 3rd clutch)?
