Both can cause problems. It is recommend that you do not go on a grade more the 10% for your safety and the safety for others around. But if the valve cover is leaking this can lead to major problems if not repaired on a timely matter

You most likely have a gummed up carbeurator. Go to any auto parts store and get a bottle of a product called SeaFoam which is a fuel additive. Follow the directions on the bottle and it will most likely clear up your problem in just a few minutes of operation.

I have a 2015 enduro 2 with a 21.5 hp kawasaki engine. sometimes after 45 min. or so it will start to run rough as if a shortage of gas , pull choke on 3/4 run better for a while then quits.

How many hours on the meter?

Likely overdue valve adjustment. The Kawasaki OHV engine requires periodic valve adjustment. Schedule is every 300 hours but due to symptoms adjust regardless.

Other general maintenance; fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs.

Less likely causes; fuel solenoid, safety interlock module.

Exmark lazer HP 19 Kawasaki 50" deck new PTO and new relays blades engage for 30 minutes then shut off engine on. After cooling will engage for 10 minutes then shut off

Engine valves need adjusting.
symptoms: starts ok, runs until engine reaches max temp loses power then stops. can't restart when hot. once restarted runs for a while stops again.

There is very little clerance in these valves and temperature alters the lenth by a few thou and the valve don't close fully losing compression, once cold the valves shrink back enough to create enough compression to start again.

2007 Ford Escape Hybrid Clatter Noise

So being it doesn't clatter in electric mode, a safe assumption is the noise is with the gas motor.

Usually a clattering noise is valvetrain noise, like a lifter not pumping up.

Low oil will cause this.

3 quarts low would probably definitely cause this!

You need to find out why you lost 3 quarts in only 80 miles!

Oil in carburetor

Make sure your air filter is clean, if it gets dirty and or plugged then it causes it to **** oil out of the crankcase through the pcv valve

I have a 2007 1500 suburban with 5.3L ''Still under warrenty'' When I decelerate then accelerate, the engine valves clatter, should I hear any at all or maybe the question is how much is normal

Is it valve clatter or spark knock. You should not have any valve noise or knocking noises from the engine. Has the service engine light ever come on.
You can have the Suburban scanned at your local Auto Zone or Advance Auto Parts free of charge.
Let me know.
