Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Appreciate the direct "Ask Me".

The steps involve are rather long and would require a lot of images to illustrate. Unfortunately not enough space here nor enough time for me to do so. So I will give you links.

A favor, if you are going to rate this as again as a Helpful, I would rather that you do not rate this solution. Due to my current rank and standing, even a Helpful would be detrimental to my rating. Your first post which you rated Helpful actually brought my ranking down. This is of course understandable as you are new and unaware of the ranking system.

Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy Holidays.

100% - 30% even if i dont start the bike and just turn the key with a full charge all gauges etc work perfect 10 - 20 seconds i turn key off and same thing battery 100% - 33%??????????????

The battery should be removed from the bike and charged and tested for voltage, specific gravity if possible and current discharge.

The details you gave suggest a faulty cell. Even a modest-sized battery stores sufficient current to destroy itself and generate quite a lot of smoke if it really lost 70% of a full charge charge in 20 seconds.

If you have not added any extra items using more current that what you had there will be no problem. Add up all the watts that you are using and see if the alternator is exceeding that demand. Make sure that every unit is properly fused to protect the wiring harness.

Hi, Gyanendra for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary transport your vehicle to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. My problem is i'm new to the bike world and just purchase the 08 R1 for my first bike not knowing the power it posses i hear people stating i was crazy but to late cus i'm paying a note for this bike. i'm...

If you want your starter bike to be your ender bike then yes it is a great first bike. Honestly it's kinda like suicide. And you want to jump onto one of the strongest and fastest bikes out there? Do a little more research before choosing because it could literally be life or death depending on your choice. The R1 is a HORRIBLE first bike choice. I suggest you start with a Ninja 250r or something similar. If you don't want to sell and buy another one you might be able to start on a Ninja 500. You do realize that the "1" in R1 stands for 1000cc bike. Be careful out there. John

I am looking for part # 19010-MAZ-004 for a X4 Honda.

I can afford to supply this spare part from Japan. However, I do not know how to contact with you in this website. (I am just a beginner of this website... I searched this part in google, and I found this question, and I am writing my message to you.)

Roughly speaking, including EMS delivery (insured), it is around 650 USD.

Of course, if you can find some shop which sells it near your house, it should be a better solution. If not, maybe someone like me can help you.

Well, if this message helps you or not, I am not sure. If it is something, I am glad.
