Location of oil filter and what kinda of oil on a 2003 Honda CR125R 2-stroke

G'day.
There is no oil filter in a two stroke. Your bike has two types of oil for the engine.

In the gearbox, it uses a light viscosity 2 stroke motorcycle gearbox oil.

Then you have the oil that you pre-mix with your fuel(to lubricate the top-end & crankshaft bearings).

Oil for your bike is best purchased from a motorcycle shop- this is a racing bike that requires race type maintainance.
The better the maintainance the longer it will last.
Things like,
Keep the chain lubricated.
Keep the air filter clean & oiled correctly with propper air filter oil(this is REALLY important).
Use high octaine fuel-(if in Australia like me-no ethanol fuel- 98 octaine).
Use the best quality 2 stroke oil you can afford-preferably full-synthetic.
Here is a link to parts fishes(exploded diagrams) for your bike.
These will help you see all the parts & gives a good idea on what goes where.Click on the part name & it will show you a picture. : )

Oil ring snapped or seized. At least it won't seize up as there's plenty of oil there!

I have a 2004 Yamaha Blaster and I pulled the drain plug too change the oil. It has a reserve box under the seat, how do you drain that oil or does it not get drained. And if not if its low in that box do...

That's not engine oil in that "reserve" box. That's where you put the 2 cycle oil. The bike automatically mixes 2 cycle oil with your fuel. Just put regular fuel into the tank, and 10w 30 into the engine fill port on the motor and put 2 cycle oil into the tank under the seat.

I have a 1974 honda cb750 my first bike and i dont know nothing about bikes.it dose not run and the guy said the oil just drained out one night. anybody know what that means?

If it's a 4 cycle engine that doesn't mix oil with the gas (2 cycle engine), then I would say that there is an oil leak, a massive one, that needs to be repaired before trying to start and run it.

Maybe the oil pan got rusty or something. I don't know.

Good luck on the repair.

What oil 10W-40 2 cycle or does it not matter

Your Kawasaki klx125 is a four stroke motor cycle. Do not use 2 stroke oil. Use any oil that is JASO MA certified motorcycle oil . In this case use 10w-40. A synthetic oil has some benefits . Your bike will run cooler and shift easier. Do not use car oil or any oil that says Energy Conserving on the label. These oils will shorten the life of your wet clutch and transmission gears ( different additives ).

Honda eterno 2000 model scooter engine consumes mobile oil and giving white smoke. What are the reasons & remedies.

is it a 2 cycle or 4 cycle motor? if 2 cycle you have maybe too much oil in the mix or broken rings. if 4 cycle then maybe accidental oil in gas or broken rings. if neither are oil related, then you have broken rings, disassembly and replace rings are called for.

My 1983 honda vt500c has GAS in the oil not water just gas any ideals as to what the problem could be? bike will still run.

I would add the following thoughts for consideration. Many things can cause this, some are, from a short driving cycle that doesn't allow the engine to fully warm up, to a faulty fuel pressure regulator, to leaking fuel injector/s or a carburator float bowl being overfilled, to worn engine parts, like piston rings, valve guides, faulty spark plugs resulting in poor fuel burn ect, ect. Basically it's gasoline getting from the top of the engine, into the bottom of the engine, where the oil sump is. Gasoline in the oil isn't good for it, or the engine, as it dilutes the oil & robs it of it's lubricating properties, resulting in accelerated engine wear & bad engine deposits. Best to change the oil & filter right away, review all the listed ideas & have the most likely checked out by a pro you trust. If your bikes mechanical condition is ok, but your driving cycle is short, after changing the oil & filter, try changing your driving cycle, or by taking your bike on a weekly 20 mile interstate round trip, to warm the engine & oil up competely, to evaporate condensation & any gasoline thats found it's way into the crankcase oil sump. Your ride will love you for it & the gas oder in the oil, will likely take a hike!!!! your bike is not good mechanically or u would not be getting fuel in oil. take it to a REPUTABLE mechanic and get it looked at .problem may be small and easy to fix. the longer you wait the worse it will get

Oil in the exhaust

The engine on this bike is a 2-cycle motor. What that means is, it must be fueled with a gas/2-cycle oil mixture. Oil in the exhaust (depending on the amount and type of oil) is not a clear indication anything is wrong with the bike.
