SOURCE: Tire Replacement

ME880 is the Metzler you're looking for. It comes in black, and wide white wall. I have it for my back tire. Haven't worn out my front enough to get a match on the front yet, but I'm working on it! They are a huge improvement over the dunlops

SOURCE: adjusting rear tire

is it rubbing all the time when you spin the wheel or is it as if the wheel is buckled? or could it be bearings in your wheel. (any side to side movement in it) if not then gotta be tire not seated correctly, you will see this though if you examine it along the rim on both sides, OR the shop put a tire on that was too wide, with either of these tire problems i suggest you go back to the shop that installed it, to re seat it you will have to remove the wheel and deflate tire fully, break the bead seal against the rim. then re-inflate carefully to seal it against the rim, give it a few bounses to help saeting correctly.

SOURCE: will a larger rear tire on my 2003 road king

About the largest you want to go without any modifications...and it can be a tight squeeze is a 140/ or a MU- . You can purchase for upto a couple of grand after market wide tire kits to run like a 180. I may be wrong but I do not think Harley offers a Wide Tire Installation Kit
for your bike any longer. hope this helps,

JP

Two things, first what are the tyre pressures for a 2001 Road King FLHRC and The fuel pump is whistling, high pitched, can an additive to the petrol fix this.

Ok, for "one-up riding", tire pressure is 30 psi in both tires. For "two-up riding", increase the rear pressure to 36 psi.

If the fuel pump is whistling, I doubt seriously if any gasoline additive is going to help but I don't guess it would hurt to try it.

Good Luck!

Harley davidson presure tires custom soft tail

It depends on the size of your tires really. The Softail Custom had the 5.00(MH90)16 rear and the 2.75(MT90)front tire. The pressure for a single rider should be 30 psi in the rear and 30psi in the front. For two up riding, increase the rear tire to 36 psi.
