2011 Kawasaki KX 65 metal in the oil

Hi, Anonymous you remove the drain plug to change the engine oil on your motorcycle only to find the draining oil has a silver tint to it, the magnet in the drain plug has fibrous material stuck to it and you become concerned. Despair not, this is normal. However, if you have an extremely bronze color in the drain pan or metal chunks in the oil and on the magnetic drain plug, this is serious. You need to determine possible metal failures.
1. Bronze in the oil could be from connecting rod bushings, cam bushings, or side cover bushings.
2. Metal fragments could be from a needle or ball bearing and or their cages.
3. Any internal metal components, clutch, oil pump, transmission, shifting parts, cylinder, rings, valves, springs, etc.
4. Any of the above will require a complete engine disassembly to diagnose and repair the failed part or component.

My 2004 kx 250f often starts with one kick when cold but after that even after 1-10 minutes idling if it needs to be started again it will take 15-25 kicks..

Dont twist the throttle at all when starting the warm/hot engine. The carb has a diaphragm fuel pump that gives a shot of gas each time you crack the throttle open. It is very easy to flood the bike.
