My 2004 kx 250f is leaking oil from where the shift lever and gear box meet, how can this be fixed and why might it be leaking?

hi, is this from around the shaft? if so a seal is fitted to this, it is easily replaced by removing the gearchange lever, und using a small sharp pick to push between the shaft and the seal, with not much effort you can pull the old one out, clean around the shaft and seal area and gently push the new 1 in useing even force all round, TIP IF YOU LAY THE BIKE DOWN ON ITS RIGHT SIDE YOU CAN REPLACE THE SEAL WITHOUT REMOVING THE OIL.

Have a kawasaki 250f with a bent front fork, what other years or brands will fit.

Depending how badly they are bent, it may be straightened. By using a press it is possible to straighten the forks if they are not too badly bent. I have done this in the past... It's not easy!

My 2004 kx 250f often starts with one kick when cold but after that even after 1-10 minutes idling if it needs to be started again it will take 15-25 kicks..

Dont twist the throttle at all when starting the warm/hot engine. The carb has a diaphragm fuel pump that gives a shot of gas each time you crack the throttle open. It is very easy to flood the bike.

I do not know in ML, but if you look on the right or left side of engine you should see a site window. When you put the oil in what you are looking for is the oil to be in the middle of the site glass.
