80/100R21 rear , check this site it has number 1 tires . metzler
is what I use , michelin, dunlop, avon are all top notch tires.
you may also check www.jpcycles.com good luck, look on your
front tire on side wall it will give your tire size . OK
your rear tire. I changed from a Dunlop tire to a Metzler tire and I have the same problem now. Not only does it lock up easily but it makes no noise either. You won't notice it until the back end starts to drift. Not good. You may can lower the air pressure on your rear tire.
I wouldn't think one as new as yours would have swingarm problems. Have you checked your air shocks lately? The FLHTC has air assisted suspension on the front and rear as best as I can remember.
One other thing, I have heard people complain about Dunlop tires. They say that they don't like them because of that problem. I've never noticed a problem with Dunlops but I ride a Wide Glide. I have recently changed to Metzler 880's tires. They seem to handle well but the braking is not too good on them. The rear tire will lock up and never make a sound. You don't know it's locked until the bike tries to go sideways a bit. Not good.

You are very insightful. Wheel alignment sounds to be the problem. Since you don't ride like a nut doing burnouts, only the tire going down the road slightly sideways is going to cause unusual wear.
ME880 is the Metzler you're looking for. It comes in black, and wide white wall. I have it for my back tire. Haven't worn out my front enough to get a match on the front yet, but I'm working on it! They are a huge improvement over the dunlops
but im trying to make my money last haha also want to see what you guys think of 180/55 compared to 190/55
-thanks guysSome of the pilot power series are dual compound.
Do note that its not a direct tradeoff between grip and tire life. For example an Avon Storms (my favorite) both stick much better and last much longer than a D207. For that matter bits of twine tied around the rim would probably outperform D207's,
