3.6L of fully synthetic oil with a filter change. Genuine Suzuki filter  recommended. No running in, you can thrash it like suzuki intended.

For all the gsx750 range, is 3.5 litres, 10W40 SG,
When the engine has been standing a while place the bike on a centre stand, or ask your good wife to sit on the bike and hold it uprite, then check the oil level by looking through the window you have found, and the level should be observed, higher than half full but not over the top mark, when replacing the oil and filter, it may take up to 4 litres to fill up to the mark after running and alowing the oil to settle

How do i change the clock settings on a suzuki gsx r1000 from miles to kilometres .brought the bike but there is no handbook with it.

Press SELECT until your odometer reading is displayed.

Press SELECT and hold then immediately press ADJUST and hold it as well.

Keep holding both and your miles should switch to kilometers.

If it does not and your timing is ok, try pushing ADJUST first, holding, and pressing SELECT second, holding both until it changes.

Oil and break in

usually what you want to follow is the recommendation from the manual. like if it is new, you have to put in 1.2 liters, then for change oils, 1.0 liters.

but since you have drained it for shipping, it is strongly suggested that you go for the factiry default volume to make sure all parts ar soaked.
