Or, go the dealership and get a new gas line fitting that plugs into the gas tank fuel valve, add a hose, and do the same thing
NOTE: Both of these options require the ignition to be on to power the fuel pump.
Try tapping on your fuel pump with a plastic hammer with the ignition switched on. Or bypassing the fuel pump completely with a piece of fuel line. It sounds like you ran out of gas which is related to the fuel petcock position or a non-functioning fuel pump.
Check your relay for the fuel pump, make sure you are getting power to fuel pump connector (outside of tank). Check for fuel flow when pump is on, ( remove tank to fuel rail line from intake side)be carefull this results in a good fuel stream that may go everywhere. Oh yeah and no smoking. Hope this heps as it sounds like the pump is not getting poweror you have a blockage somewhere.
