I have a 1990 Toyota Corrola I was having trouble starting it up after I would drive it for the day then after it was sitting for a few hours or over night it would start again I thought it was the starter so I bought a rebuilt starter and intalled it but the car still would do the same thing this has been going on for about a month now the car will not start at all. Someone told be it could be the relay switch or could it be I need a new starter?

SOUNDS LIKE THE CRANK SENSOR POSS. AS I HAVE ONE HERE THAT I JUST DIAGNOSED FOR THE SAME THING WITH A SCAN TOOL WHEN WE FINALLY GOT IT NOT TO START. I'LL FOLLOW UP AFTER SENSOR INSTALL

You say that "it only has this starting issue in the morning after the car has sat all night".
So this means that during the day, if your running errands, it starts ok when you come out of the store etc, right??
PS do not buy an alternator yet..

They have either left a wire to the starter unhooked or they have blown a fuse or fuselink

run a system trouble code test, most likely cause of this is a failed cranksahft position sensor. go to link.
