If you are saying the speedo and gauges don't work, did you check the gauges or cluster fuse ?
Is the cluster getting power and ground ?

the only part that works is the battery meter, and the oil pressure. the fuse is fine also, and yes because the battery gage works

SOURCE: Gagues stopped working...

There has been a recall for some specific suv's made by general motors (chevy, gmc, cadillac, etc.). They involve the tachometer (speed, oil, gas gauges) that are faulty.
go here for information about the recall.

Ask dealer if it has a towing package on it. If it does, you usually just pop fuse in under hood for electric brakes, and harness to adapt into is usually near or at rear bumper. Even if it doesn't have brake wire, you should still be able to install adapter at rear, for lights etc. which is available from dealer or auto supply places, then you may have to run electric brakes separate.

I have a 2003 chevy tahoe, all the gauges went dead. i replaced all the stepper motors and still nothing works any ideas.

Gm has a problem with its clusters. If the guage fuse is ok try slapping on the dash above the cluster to see if anything comes back online. If not I would suspect an internal cluster issue and it will have to come out for repair/replacement

Ihavr a 2000 chevy cavalier for some reason the brake lights dont work most of the time, also along with this the turn signals ewont flash. ive already replaced both sockets and bulbs in the rear im not...

Check your fuse first thing. You may also have a bad brake light switch. If the turn signals come on but just will not flash then replace the flasher relay.

The cluster wont work and it is a new cluster and the fuse is good whats wrong

You don't say why you need to replace the cluster in the first place.

I assume your problem is that the new tacho does not work.

The 89-94 Talons have clusters that look the same. HOWEVER ...

89-91 cluster tachs expect -ive ign pulses, while 92-94 expect +ive pulses (or vice-versa, if forget) . The reason is different ign pulse circuits on the engine.

Hence a 91 cluster tach and the boost gauge won't function in a 93 unless the polarity issue is addressed. It's possible to mix and match parts from your old cluster and the new one. Fiddly but doable.

Insturment cluster stops working All gauges plus speedometer & rpm gauge. Sometimes it starts back on its own on a restart. Sometimes it doesn't for several restarts then it does.

They had a recall on that. We have a 03 Chevy Silverado where the spedometer would either sit at zero or get stuck at the last speed. It sometimes takes a few starts to get it going. We did receive a recall notice for the instrument cluster to be replaced at no charge, but the clause was it had to be under 70k miles. We bought our truck at 72k and it is around 1k to replace so we just live with it. I dont get how the milage would have anything to do with it. Wish I could be of more help...its very frusterating.

Central locking and windows unusable due to leak

I've been dealing with similar problems (windows and sunroof dead, power locks iffy, dome light doesn't work, random chiming) and best I can figure is:

a) get rid of the leak and any standing water
b) depending on the year of your car check the relays and/or central locking module

I spent a lot of time checking the ECU and door interior parts and those were both dead ends. I also thought the standing water on the floor might be shorting actual wiring, but now I've eliminated that as well. Although my alarm hasn't been going off, the "door chime" has and the instrument cluster sometimes shows 3 or 4 doors open while driving. VAG-COM showed some alarm trip type faults as well. Central locking is my next move when I've got some time.
