Whining noise whendriving

I never suggest flushing a trans

Just remove the pan & clean

If you want most of the fluid out,
drive it a week or so then drain again.

I suspect the noise is the trans pump,
but don't know exactly how any dirt sediment
flushed into it would cause a noise

May have a cylinder misfire

Have a shop check it out

Go for a road test & go along, to explain
& duplicate the problem

Squeel = drive belt, whine check drive belt pullys. Still under waranty?

It might be the idler pulley or automatic tensioner. When either one dries up, the bearing wears out and starts causing whistling or whining noises, might need replacing. Try replacing the cheapest one, the idler pulley to see if it stops. If not, it might be your belt tensioner.

LOL , We had this issue arise before and it turned out to be that when the audio guys at American TV installed the car stereo speakers in our door , they tore the plastic sealing membrane on the inside of the door under the door panel.
To locate the leak you will need a passenger with good hearing .
drive into the wind until the noise starts and have the passenger guess which door the whistling is coming from... remove the door trim panel and be sure the membrane is intact and sealed... pay close attention to the mirror area... as they are prone to leak and cause a whistle...

Are the windows up tight and sealed?

change the thermostat and the temp gauge in the radiator

try sticking your hand out the window while driving and cover up the seem on the side mirrors. ususally those make loud whislte noises
