Question about 2003 Honda XR 125 L
Oil filter location and procedure for replacment
It doesn't have a proper oil filter, for this reason you have to change the oil regularly (every 1000 to 2000 miles).
For information on how to change the oil try this link:
The honda xr125 and honda cg125 have the same engine. I have changed the oil several times on my xr125 and I can confirm that you follow the same procedure for both bikes. There is also an oil change demo on youtube for the cg125:

the oil drain is underneath the transmission. There are two drain plugs. The engine oil drain is the plug closest to the left front of the oil pan. Remove the plug and drain the oil, replace the plug. Remove and discard the old oil filter replacing it with a new filter. Pour three quarts of oil into the oil pan at the front of the transmission. Check the oil level and make sure it comes up to the "OIL COLD" mark. Add as necessary to get the oil to this point. Your bike came with H-D brand Syn3 oil. This is a fully synthetic oil that carries an API rating of CG4 for use in diesel engines and the viscosity is 20W50.
