Silencer Shake Your solution for the shake of silencer is for the internal parts of the Silencer, but I asked about the shake of the whole silencer unit. I think it is due to the weight of the silencer and the bracket is not sufficient to hold the weight, that's why the whole unit shivering while riding the bike. Hope you can understand the problem. Hope you will give a valuable suggestion in this regard( any alterations with a low budget)

My silencer is blowing between the silencer and the link pipe how can i repair it

Remove the silencer and clean up the down pipe and silencer ends. Use a liberal amount of exhaust repair paste and push the silencer back on. Refit the clamp that holds the pipes together and replace any perished rubberised band that may be used. Run the motor on idle for about 10 mins to harden the paste and the leave overnight. Recheck the clamp for tightness and hopefully all should be well with the world, the sun will be shining and you can go for a ride.

Shake of Silencer

Hi! it sounds like the baffles have detached themselves from the wall of the muffler/silencer. With the bike running try inserting a long slim screwdriver or similar into the exit of the exhaust bearing in mind it's HOT! try a little LIGHT pressure aganst the main baffle if it stops you may be able to drill and take a long bolt and nut to secure.(On the inside so as not seen) Failing that an after market system is the only route unless you have a large wallet for genuine.
Good luck!

Exhaust packing

what is the brand and model of your silencer, usually (since i have only 1 silencer and 3 arresters for my rm)

when i pack the silencer, it usually depends on what arrester i use. if you are using stock FMFs 15" premier pack will be good enough 011390

i wont actually cause any problems, just minor lose on the power, very minor if it is too much or too less. too less will be as if the pack is freely moving inside the silencer, to much is when you cane even put the pack in the tube.

Cleaning the core of silencer

You can use a propane torch and heat it up until it glows red hot. It only takes a few minutes to do the whole tube. Let it cool and then scrub over it with a wire brush. When you're done it'll look brand new
