I have a 1998 318ti and it just looses power at different times whilst driving along.

I am forced to pull over as all power is lost. Car will not start up after this has happened. It will start usually after half to three quarter hours later.

Bmw 2882/3 fault codes present

You most likely have an engine vacuum leak or a defective mass airflow sensor or low fuel pressure. Read the codes with a OBD2 code reader and see what the standard codes are.

Injector not working why put new injector new computer new fuel pump does it have injector relay 1987 celebrity

Check fuel pressure. Have you replaced the fuel filter on schedule? Verify that the fuel pump is getting power. Power goes through an in-line fuse, then the fuel pump relay or the oil pressure sensor. (The relay bypasses the oil pressure sensor while the engine starts, but fuel pump power goes through the sensor during normal run operation. If you lose oil pressure, the fuel pump is shut off to protect the engine.) On four-cylinder models, the fuse is in the fuse block (E PUMP 10)
The fuel injectors are connected to the ECM fuse on one side and straight to the engine computer on the other side. Check the connectors and wiring, especially at the injector.

Ive got a 1997 cavalier it will start but quickly dies out ive got fire to my plugs and fuel to the injectures ive just replaced the ignition switch is there somkind of a security

You need a new fuel pump relay. The engine fires up and runs off the oil pressure switch untill the oil pressure PSI is reached at normal operating conditions. When the oil pressure reaches its operating PSI the PCM or engines computer will shut off that circuit and turns on the fuel pump relay to run the fuel pump untill you shut the engine off

Bmw 1988 325is engine stops running sometimes - not lack of fuel or battery, new fuel pump. Sometimes wont start, starter motor working well, good battery. Replaced fuel pump - same deal.

The number one problem with these cars is with clogged fuel filters. They must be changed regularly. When you say it won't start, do you mean it cranks but won't fire? That could be a fuel pressure problem due to a clogged filter.
