My four wheeler gets spark and gas to the carb but wont start what else could it be?

Carb could be dirty, float stuck or choke stuck. Pull plugs, crank engine and see if you are getting raw gas in the cylinder(s). If you don't get gas to the cylinders, you won't start. You also could have a flooded carburetor.

01 dyna sup glide carb rebuild Idels/starts great give it throttle it wants to die/ choke out, I've checked float Shut off valve Jets/excilerater pump/float/all seem okay

Carb rebuilds are extremely sensitive to being set correctly. If when you accelerate you say it seems to choke out, slightly close the choke or place your hand a small portion over the carb to see if there is change for the better because it sounds like it is leaning out. The float level is so, so crucial for a successful rebuild. If by choking it make is take the fuel better, the float level is too low so check it again. If it make matters worse, there is a problem with the overall rebuild. You must make sure everything is clean and all airway and passages are unrestricted. A simple misplacement of a gasket can cause unbelievable issues. Use a suitable solvent to soak the parts in.

Make sure that the fuel is flowing freely from the tank. There is a screen before the petcock. If the fuel seems restricted, remove the petcock and clean or replace the screen.

Good luck,
Vinnie

Why won't it idle without choke?

Fuel supply problem somewhere. How is the float adjustment and the float valve? I'd guess the level adjustment is too low.

Won't start

Check the fuel level in the float chambers of the carbs, it could be too low! Readjust the float to obtain correct level. Blow out the primary and main jets with compressed air.
Hope you adjusted the air screw mixture at the right temperature of the engine i.e. you need to warm it up and than adjust also check the valve clearance of the engine.
Hope this helps

Troy-bilt 34322 343220110815 mower will not start

Dump out old gas. Fill with fresh gas. Always use Stabile in gas. Clean or replace park plug and air filter. Check oil level. All mowers have a low oil start cutoff. 30w oil. If any grey in oil moisture contaminated, dump out old oil and refill. Check fuel line for cracks or leaking. Check primer bulb for cracks, replace if required. Clean outside of carb with carb cleaner to ensure easy choke operation. Remove carb bowl from carb, ensure float hangs down freely. float down fuel flow, float up fuel flow stops. Check bowl screw for hole thru bolt, if so clean out hole.

2000 Yamaha WR400 wont run with choke off.

Hi, Anonymous and the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel cap or fuel tank is not venting properly.
2. Fuel filter clogged.
3. Fuel line pinched or kinked.
4. Float needle and seat sticking.
5. Float level too low.
6. Carburetor bowl vent line clogged/blocked/pinched.
7. Idle adjusting screw set too low.
8. Air/fuel mixture screw set too lean.
9. Idle port, transfer ports, slow air jet clogged.
10. Slow fuel jet clogged.
11. Faulty fuel pump.
