Fuel line from tank to carb. is usually only four or five inches long. I recommend buying a foot of new line in different sizes. Carb. idle screws generally one in a half turns out for a good start position. May have to fine tune them a little bit more or less.

Info about carberator , sat up for a few years

either your pit cock has gummed up or the carb. has gummed up with bad gas.Just take carb. apart and clean or get someone to rebuild it Truth be know that is probally what should be done because your gaskets for the bowl is probally dry rotted also.It is also possible for it to be stopped up inside the gas tank at the point where the pit cock goes into the bottom of tank since it has sit for so long

I have apolandpro46cc 20inchchain saw it will start but it cuts off and will not idle

In sequence:
First, if it has a "torch" plug, toss it. Go for BM7A NGK.
See that nothing has come loose- carb & thereabouts.
Dump fuel & put in FRESH mix.
Carb may need adjustment.
See that ignition switch lead and switch are not intermittently shorting.
If all else fails, do a vac/press test- could be crank seals.
More info up front makes it simpler.

My powermate rear tine tiller is getting gas into the oil it will start and run as long as im am putting fuel into the carberator once i stop putting fuel the engine stops what is the problem. the til

This sounds like the float is sticking in the carb causing it to flood . You need to take the carb off and clean it and put a kit in adjusting the float per the instructions

Saw wont rev up or idle

First thing, try new gas.
If that doesn't do it, you need to adjust the low and high speed circuits on the carb. A good starting point is 1.5 turns out from fully seated. On that saw I'm not positive if you will have access to the adjustment screws unless you pull off the plastic caps that may be covering them.

19G400 generator stops after 3 seconds

take off the carburettor, take it apart, let it set 3 or 4 hours on a gallon bucket of carburettor cleaner, take it out and wash it in water to get out the cleaner, blow it out with compressed air and put a new carb kit in it ,put it all back together and put it on the generator,it should only need some adjusting and it should run fine,Tommy

I changed fuel filter ,fuel line to carberator ,rebuilt carberator and adjusted properly put new mixed fuel and coil is new and gets good spark motor has compression motor fires and stops runinng riteaway ...

Are you sure you pump in the unit properly? Some carbs have the gasket against the carb body and some have the pump next to the body. Also check the needle valve for proper operation, and dirt.

IS THERE A GASKET ON BACK SIDE OF CARBERATOR

Yes. You have a diaphragm on one side and a gasket or two on the other side. While you have it apart you may want to:

Check the fuel lines for cracks/breaks. If they are o.k., then:

You will need to spray the carburetor with carb.cleaner. Make sure the small screen is free of debris. (Should be able to see daylight through it.)

Use a Den Tek Brush, (http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=165357&catid=1152),to clean the small portals in carb. These portals can become blocked. Reassemble and start.

If the carb. parts are more than 4 years old, you may have to replace them.

If you need further assistance on:
1. Fuel line replacement or
2. Carburetor kit replacement

Just let me know.

Jim

New carberater and a mechanic needed!

Even if you do it yourself you need to adjust it.I would get another mechanic to look at it also.Have you tried cleaners? 1 type you add to the gas the other you remove the air bonet and spray into the top of carb while running (have someone press on the gas lightly so you don't stall.Have you tried to increase the idle via the adjusting screw? has the auto choke been tested..adjusted? Good Luck.

110cc pocket bike carberator

That tube would be the overflow tube. Your carb float is sticking open and allowing fuel to flow in constantly. You need to take carb apart, clean needle valve, and inspect or replace carb float.
