With apprila Rs 125cc 2 strokes bike. I fill up with 98 octane unleaded and I poured 2 strokes oil Into petrol tank. is it possible can damage the engine?. at the moment I couldnt start the engine.

well you cant damage it by doing that but if you put too much n and didnt shake it well it will settle at the bottom of the fuel tank and fill the carburettor up with oil as oil is heavier than petrol.why are you not using the oil tank and oil pump fitted to the bike ?best thing to do is put a new spark plug in it turn the fuel tap off roci the bike bacwards and firwards to mix the oil and fuel in the tank, and drain the carburettor by undoing the 14mm nut in the centre of the bottom of the carb, then turn the fuel back on and try and start it up.

I put 2 stroke oil in my 4 stroke engine not knowing and now my moped wont go itll start and every time i turn the gas blue smoke comes out of the muffler and the moped doesnt move how do i fix this

Hi, Bruinalt77 just drain it and replace it with the proper oil for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your problem. What octane level of gas should I use for a 2003 Honda Shadow ACE

Usually premium (92 octane). That's what the bikes are designed to run on. Sometimes you can get away with using 89 octane. But try your best to never use 87 octane fuel, unless you're stuck somewhere and that's all you have available to you.

Backfiring atomik 125cc running rough.

What octane gas are you using? If octane is to high even with mixed fuel it will cause valves to burn out run to rich....try using lower octane gas, if not you need to adjust fuel mixure...only ned a small screwdriver for this....but try the fuel first...

2003 Geely 50cc Moped wont start without starting fluid.

Both types would use fuel enrichment to make the fuel/air mixture richer for cold starts. Motorcycles deliver extra fuel to the intake through small holes in the intake bore when the choke is activated. When cleaning, use something soft like a plastic broom bristle (not metal wire) to avoid scratching the inside of the jet or passage.

Good luck,
