My 1983 Ford E150 conversion van has a security system that I need to bypass. It won't start and the alarm keeps going off. The buttons on the key chain work sometimes but still won't start.

The thing that sucks is you can't disable the alarm. I had this same issue. Here is the link, you have to replace the actual board behind the dashboard, I don't know the names, sry! But I do know, you can solder them as well, that's what we did and it fixed it! Good luck!! Seems like a ton of ppl have this issue and it ends up costing you an arm and leg! http://ingriddijkers.com/CaravanPics.html

You most likely have a failed anti theft system. Go to this link to read about these systems. I have no permanent fix for you, but you might be able to bypass the anti theft parts at the ignition. This might get you going. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

Dash lights quit working in my 1988 Ford Econoline E150 Conversion Van

The dash lights are fused. As Ford dosn't lable the fuse panel, you will have to look in the owner's booklet or look at the fuses to see if ones blown.

How do I remove the alarm system on my 1996 Ford Econoline Conversion Van? There is a "ticking" behind the back stereo in the van, where the alarm module is located. This results in the battery draining...

The PCM needs the module inline in order to get the correct input in order to allow the ign and fuel to turn on. There is no easy way for what your asking. Best bet is to get it diagnosed and fixed. It will be alot cheaper. There is no info on how to remove the alarm from the system. If there were, any thief would have access to it. Only info is to repair it. . I'm not sure its even that module thats your problem. You may have body control module and a lighting control module. Both of these are known for draining batteries when the key is out of the ignition.

If it were easy to bypass it wouldn't be security.

Are plugs and wires good? Did you check distributor? Firing order correct-timing set right? Maybe some of the new parts are faulty? Are grounds all secure and are fuses good?
