SOURCE: ran wires through handle bars and relocated front
you will have to check your work, if you soldered and taped should be no prob. marrets are not good enough for this job due to bikes vibation

Get a test light and stick the probe in the connector on the bike and clip the other end to a good ground. Turn on the key and run the turn signals, brake light and running light. Move the probe from hole to hole until you find the turn signal flash, the brake light and the running light. Obviously, the turn signals will flash, the brake light will go on and off when you hit the pedal, and the running light will stay on constantly. the three wires on the brake light are ground, brake and running light. Should be a simple matter to figure out which wires go where from here. If you are using digital lights, i.e. LED lights, the current only flows one way. As an example, if you hook up the turn signals and they don't work, reverse the wires.
SOURCE: I need the wiring order at the tail light socket
I don't have a schematic for a bike this new but usually Harley uses a red wire for the stop light and a green wire for the tail light.
It's easy to figure out. Turn on your ignition switch and depress the rear brake with a test light connected to the red wire. If the test light lights up, that the brake light, if not, try the green wire. One of them should light up when you depress the brake.
Once the wires plug into the plug at the tail light, they both turn to black wires. The turn signal wires are violet (left) and brown (right). Running lights are probably green as well.
This is just a best guess. Harley usually doesn't change much stuff from year to year but electrical wiring is one thing that does change.
Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Check the ground wire.
Place a test wire from the engine case (pick a hidden place to connect.
the wire) to the rear end. Try the base of a light.

Contact me directly and I'll send you some troubleshooting information. It's out of an older service manual but the information is still good. The wire colors may be a bit different however.
