No there is not a kit available. I have tried it myself before and used other spec material for the damper in the clutch and made the rivets myself. Worked great but is very timely. I'd actually recommend buying a new basket. The side pedals on the original basket often get grooves from the clutch plates wearing on them which can cause clutch chatter too.

My husband changed front brake pads and now brake fluid leaks drivers side front caliper bolt. Sometimes smokes

If your hubby only changed the pads and nothing else it is likely one of 2 things

- the rubber hose got twisted or jerked and is now partly split (they do so when getting old)

- the piston seals in the caliper are now leaking (when changing pads the piston has to be forced right back in the caliper and sometimes old seals cannot cope with this)

Inspect the hose closely and have the caliper overhauled with a seal and boot kit. Also have the brake fluid flushed and renewed.

Clutch basket rattle

Have the hardened steel rivets that hold the basket pieces together welded to the basket, it will 100% cure. Use only a qualified welder, the quality of the welds is very important

Loud knocking noise at idling posotion

Look at kick start gears behind the clutch basket. The bushings on the gears wear out causing the gear to hit rivets on back of clutch basket creating a loud hard knock. you will have to replace whole gear the bushings are not sold seperatly

Something is rattling in tranny or engine?

Its worth openning again the side cover and re-inspect that nut, not bad too if you can remove the clutch basket taking care of the plates as how they are fitted so that you don't get confused on assembling.
Check for the wear on the basket where the clutch plates go in and are thn driven especially those notches, check too the gear that mashes with the clutch system for any wear and not bad to check the springs too in the clutch basket.

Hope this helps .

Clutch vibrating

Two reasons for this. Rattling is usually faulty pressure plate which means clutch overhaul. Depending on which Focus some have a rubber mounted flywheel which dies and must be replaced. Either way its gearbox out and check. First check all gearbox and engine mounts, but it sounds more serious.
