Feul injection I was riding normal and the motor started running like on 1 cyl when i got home pulled air cleaners had feul overload in font cyl , feul comming out exaust and throttle body opened butterfly and front tract full of feul

    never mind i did a compression test and #1 cyl is bad have to replace piston thanks for help

SOUNDS AS IF INJECTERS NEED CLEANING.
FIRST STAGE LOAD YOUR FUEL TANK UP WITH SOME INJECTER CLEANER AVAILABLE FROM ANY MOTOR *** SHOP AND RUN THE ENGINE. IF IT'S AS BAD AS YOU SAY YOU MAY NEED TO USE DOUBLE OR TRIPLE STRENGTH. IF THAT DOES NOT WORK TRY REMOVING INJECTERS AND SOAK THEM IN THE SAME NEAT FLUID. ALSO HAVE YOU CHECKED THE ELECTRICS TO THE INJECTERS AND ALSO THAT THE PLUGS ARE CLEAN AND SPARK UNDER COMPRESSION.

You need to clean your carbs. Something is gummed up inside. Most likely pilot jet, but need to clean and synchronize them.

is your gas tank clean ? ever drain the carb? should every season. check to see if you have correct spark plug and gap. check fuel line for crimp.

it could be the gaskets around your carb are bad and leaking air if so its thinning your gas fumes with more air then what is needed inside your combustion chamber witch is causing your engine to stop running like that. best of luck

I would check the compression of the piston, the rings could be stuck and not have good compression. It should show 120 psi or more. Also can pull off the exhaust and look in the exhaust port to see the rings, piston, and cylinder walls. If the motor has a power valve make sure that is not gummed up or stuck. Mark C

Are we talking about a go-kart, Mopar, GM, Ford, 6 Cyl., 8 cyl, 3 cyl., truck, car, motor home??? Are those voltage readings while running or engine on but not running?

A coil requires 9.5 volts to fire efficiently. Is your battery fully charged? Why did you replace the plugs and wires? How does it do when it's warm?

Toyota grandhiace diesel engine 3.0 1 kz start heavy feul consumption.

check for fuel leak at the pump. pull and fit new tips to the injectors. Have the injection timing checked by an accredited diesel shop ( same one that is replacing the injector tips)

Hi I have an Audi 2.6 1998 cabriolet, in the morning went to work with it an everthing was fine, started it that afternoon after work to go home, (this was about 2 months ago and still trying to locate...

It sounds like the timing is off or a bad timing belt/chain.The dieseling effect is usually due to excessive carbon buildup inside the combustion chamber.Try a fuel injection service to see if that solves the problem of the pre-ignition.

99 f250 7.3......has been running rough mid throttle, yesterday on the highway it died but started back up before i could get pulled over,today it shut off and stated it back up and made it home...i have...

spray some carb cleaner down the breather pipe the carb could be clogged up so it is not opening properly and choking the engine or flush out your feul they may be dirty and your not getting enough fuel through when you need it or your air intake senser might need changing cus if your air/fuel mix is wrong your engine will stall

Engine starts well but only runs on idle,but won't rev up

You need to perform some maintenance on that rider.
First ensure that you are using fresh gasoline.
Then pull that air cleaner off and clean it. Normally if its a sponge filter clean it in some solvent than squeeze it out really good.
After wards get a little cup of motor oil and soak it in that and squeeze that out. If it cant be cleaned than replace it.
You are choking out your motor with that dirty air cleaner.
If after you get it all cleaned up and and ensure your gas is fresh and it still does it then it needs to go into the shop for a major repair I cant walk you through on here.

ok buddy are you running the correct heat range plug as when wrong pluges get hot they foul and when the cool the come back to life so try that 1st also what colour are the plugs when you pull them out get back to me

I have a '99 Camry w/109,000 miles which keep cutting out some-

  1. CHECK FOR VACUUM LEAKS
