Sounds like rev limiter at half throttle ttr90

I have just worked on a 2003 ttr90 for a friend and had a similar problem. when I got the bike it had set up for a few years so the fuel system was wrecked. after a thorough cleaning the bike would run fine up to about 3500rpm. then it would cut out much like a rev limiter. it was very consistant and I read some forums but none said anything about a rev limiter. I had also installed a carb kit. I decided to remove the carb and try again. I figured it was lacking fuel in the upper rpms so I raised the throttle cylinder needle as high as it would go. there are 3 notches to set it. the factory setting was in the middle. after I raised the needle it ran like new and turned through the rpm range perfectly. hope this helps someone.

I have a yamaha 50cc scooter where is the battery located

Some bikes don't have a battery. It sounds like the bike you have is a small single cylinder dirt bike. If this is so, then you probably have a magneto that powers the ignition.
Trace the spark plug wire from the plug to the other end. The other end is where the magneto is located.

Rear brakes on 05 roadstar silverado do not fully disengage after applying rear brake. I have changed the seals rebuilt master cylinder. Do not see any fluid anywhere or on ground after bike parked. Do you...

You are dealing with rust or dirt in your master cylinder. When you look into the reservoir or top of the cylinder you will see a large feeder hole where the DOT 3/4 brake fluid feeds the piston of the master cylinder. You probably did not notice that there was a tiny pin hole right next to the large feeder hole. This pin hole allows fluid to return to the reservoir. When it is plugged pressure builds up in the brake system until the wheel stops turning. If you open the brake bleeder screw the pressure will be released and you will be able to drive most of the way home before the wheel locks up again. Take a fine piece of wire ( one piece of wire cut from a wire brush will do) and open the pin hole back up and your brakes should work correctly again.
