Hi Anonymous, before you run out and by a new speedometer check every connection in the speedometer circuit, look for corroded, broken or loose pins using a dab of dieltric grease repair as necessary. For a free wiring diagram please visit website below:

I keep blowing my acc and my lights fuse,,, tried replacing the tsc mod same problem,, chassis ground is good,,, wireing harness is intact,,,, at this point i'm clueless

You need to determine exactly what is controlled by those fuses. Disconnect all of them on each circuit. Reconnect them one at the time unitl you blow a fuse. Then you have found the culprit. You didn't mention what year model your bike was but I can scan a copy of a wiring diagram for a 1999-on Sportster and send it to you. Contact me directly at

2005 Harley Davidson XLC. There was a pop from

Check the front wheel. The speedo drive normally resides on the front wheel hub. Take a look at that and see if it looks normal, I'm thinking your cable broke inside the speedo drive which made the "pop" sound. There is a possibility the drive could also have cratered but this will have to be determined when the speedo drive is removed from the front axle and inspected for damage and function.

Speedo, turn signals, brake lights, horn stopped working. All else is fine.

Gap your plugs to 38 thou. Check all your bulbs (one burned out will affect the rest) Take a look at all your fuses and make sure they are all ok. Otherwise you are probably looking at a wiring short which will require trouble shooting of the elctrical system. Buy your self a service manual for your bike, this will help you a lot.

Yellow idiot light...what is it

Yellow is the Check engine light.  It's kind of goofy since it is a image of a V-8 engine, but that is the universal sign for check engine.
