Best oil for a suzuki tl1000r? How can i flush the engine after car oil was used on the motorcycle as recomended by the autozone kid. ?

run the engine until it reaches operating temperature then remove the drain plug and let it drain for an hour or so
the hot oil will drain off the parts
what is left will not contaminate the new oil to a problem point
If you are still concerned then run the engine again on the correct oil then drain it out. Wait say 15 minutes then refill with the correct oil again and it will be ok
The method is to use correct oil to flush the existing oil out of the system

What make and grade engine oil 2001 yamaha r6

I Would Recommend Using YAMALUBE Oils For This Bike. Your Dealer Can Supply The Right Oil And Filter. It Will Cost More Than Going To Wal-Mart But Your Engine Is Worth It. The Engine Oil Lubes The Transmission and Clutch. See The Dealer On This One .The Engine You Save Will Be Yours.

Haw to chac the oil

With engine warm, place machine on stand place container under bike to catch old oil, undo the oil drain plug 17mm, wearing gloves will prevent poss injury from hot engine oil, when completly drained replace drain plug, check condition of drain plug sealing washer and replace if ness, tighten and replace oil with correct amount and grade of oil, recheck oil level after running for a short time, top up if ness

Hi how much gear box oil do i need to put in my 2005 ktm exc

change the transmission oil run the engine warm and set up the motorcycle

on a horizontal surface. Remove the oil drain screw and drain used oil

into a container. Clean the magnet of the oil drain screw and reinstall oil drain

screw with seal. Pour in 0.7 litres engine oil (e. g. Motorex Top Speed 4T

15W50), replace plug and check engine for leaks.

TRANSMISSION AND CLUTCH WILL BE SUBJECT TO EXCESSIVE WEAR AND TEAR,

IF YOU USE TOO LITTLE OR LOW GRADE OIL. USE ONLY HIGH-GRADE OIL (E. G.
MOTOREX TOP SPEED 4T 15W50).

I got this bike and i was wondering what kind of engine oil do i use?

You can use SAE40 grade oil on the engine.
Yamaha recommends their specific oil and is used from their service centre as each manufacturer has a tie up with different oil companies. Some may recommend Serrvo othere Castrol or BP. But the grade will be similar.

I have bought a 2nd hand pulsar 150 2006 it has got an overheating problem and the engine is very rough (too much vibration)

its either too lean(runs hot, causes vibrations, hesitates on acceleration) or there is a problem with the lubrication system(not enough oil to the piston = alot of friction=running hot. hope that helps

How mush engine oil dose my 2003 handa cr250 2 stroke hold

You dont take "engine" oil
Your transmission takes oil, which can be motor oil, but you can get a better grade. I recommend Bel-Ray gear saver that is designed for this.
I believe yours will take 680 ml's. There is a plug on the clutch cover that the oil will run out of when you fill it. Measure it and fill it untill it runs out. That's what it will take. (Bike straight up and level)
