Van seems to wobble when the speed gets brtween 35 and 50 mph

I have a 1993 Plymouth Grand Voyager and there is a shimmy in it when at 30 - 50 mph. you cant feel it in the back of the van or in the middle seats, just in the front. Got the tires changed at Walmart because a friend said a band was broken in the front but it still does it. Any ideas?
Thanks

I have had the tires checked and replaced all way around and they are not bad, also they tell me it is not out of alignment. and the other i have no idea what that is, or where it is, give me more 411 i had one tech tell me it was motor mounts and trans mount, had that checked and they are not the problem unless they didnt know what they were talking about , but this problem only occurs when giving gas, van can be going the same speeds and if you are not giving it gas it rides very smooth. so it seems that there is something to do with giving it gas, i am not sure but i do need help,,

Have your van checked for alignment, camber and have those front tires balanced.

Wobble during acceleration could also result from damage in your drive shafts, have that checked too. Also check your rims of damage or deformation.

Hope that what they told you about your front wheel alignment and camber is accurate, and you may ask for a second opinion ablout this

maybe / maybe not, really depends on numbers and design level of builds between vans.

1997 plymouth grand voyager cruise control problems

Try doing a "Brain Kill" on the van. Disconnect both battery terminals, and (MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT CONNECTED TO THE BATTERY!!!!!) touch and hold them together for at least 10 seconds. Mopars hold onto their faults, even after the repairs. Huge problem for transmission shops, but that's another topic. My 99 Dakota had the Speed Sensor fail, and it wouldn't shift until I "Killed" the ECM and BCM's memories.

Good Luck!!!

Transmission wont shift out of first gear on a 1993 grand voyager

your van is going into limp mode!
if the computer sees a problem with any of three sensors it will not up shift,
speed sensor,
input sensor,
output sensor,
none of these are a major thing

Have you called transmission place? Did they also install it? Ask them if they changed speedometer adapter, and mention the difference in speed.

Steering wheel wobbles while driving

If it seems to happen more when rounding a curve than on the straight, it may be your CV joint. I'm not sure but I think you can replace the half shaft that connects the wheel to the engine. Otherwise, you may have to find a press to press out the old one. It's kinda like a U-joint on rear wheel drive cars. Or it could be the tire out of balance, bad tire, bad stabalizer bar. Gonna have to jack it up and get under it and start shaking stuff to find out what's loose. GOod luck and have fun....
