What motor oil do i use for my 2005 CR125 honda

You need to use a 2 stroke motor oil. Look for oils that say 2 stroke motorcycle oil, injector oil or smokeless. Do not use a standard automotive motor oil, your bike will smoke. It should be pre-mixed with your gasoline. I am relatively sure the ratio is 32:1, but you should check your owners manual to be sure. At this ratio you would use 4 ounces of oil to each gallon of gas. This ratio allows for an all-around use of your bike. If you are not going to use the bike at high speeds for extended periods, you may want to consider a different fuel/gas ratio - 50:1.

The above information is recommended for a Stock motorcycle.

What is the oil to gas mixing ratio- thanks

it may be different with different oils,as there are mineral or synthetic oils, but around 30-1, there will be information on the oils pack, or if you buy from a bike shop they will help

Bogs down and smokes through the first three gears. theres no snap.

sounds like the bike may be flooding. Assuming the oil mix ratio is correct, pull and clean the carb, pay attention to the float make sure it does not have a hole in it or is not logged with fuel. Have you done any carb work on it if you have changed the jet in the carb it sounds like it is too big, try going down a size or two.

What kind of oil does my 2003 rm 125 need

For the gas tank= 2-stroke motor oil mixed at 32:1 *stock mixing ratio* [that's 32-parts gas to 1-part oil]. **[I personally use a 40:1 mixture for trail riding,..and 50:1 mixture for racing at the local MX track].

What is the oil to gas ratio supposed to be for a 2002 cr125?

32:1 is the official ratio

If you run it hard or wide open all the time you can go as high as 25:1 so you have more oil to keep the engine cool and oiled. If you putz around on it then you can go as low as 40:1 so you don't foul plugs and less smoke.

CR 125 dirt in the carburator

The only thing it means is that you need an in-line fuel filter and there is dirt in your gas tank.

A “very helpful” rating on this answer? Thanks!

Honda cr 125 1997 wont idle

Your carberautor is either gummed up or needs to be adjusted. Begin by going to an auto zone or similar store and gatting a can of carb. cleaner that gets added to your gas. Be sure to follow the instructions on how much you add per gallon. let that run through your bike for a while and see where you are. If cleaning the carb. doesn't hellp, then the carb. will have to be adjusted.

Fuel mixture screw

Begin by screwing the mixture screw in all the way until it stopps,,,but ONLY JUST STOPS,,,,,DONT FORCE IT,,,then look at the top of the screw slot,,and call that 12 oclock,,,now turn the screw out to you three full turns going through 12oclock,,that means 12 to 12 is one turn.

then start the bike,,,finish your adjustments now by slowley turning the screw outwards until the engine starts to misfire,,,at this point turn the screw back in one half to three quarters of a turn. Now you have the mixture set roughly.
For fine tuning,, you need to use a monometer while turning the mixture screw
Best of luck...
