Turn signals 4 ways and turn signals dont flash

The turn signals operate off of the emergency 4-way flasher. Check to see if your 4-ways flash. If they do, your problem is the 4-way flasher module. Replace that. It's not too difficult and fairly cheap

Try replacing the turn signal flasher. You don't say the make and model of your car so it's impossible to guess if there are LED lights

there is a flasher under the dash put your 4 ways on and listen for the tick noise find the flasher unit under dash area driver side there is two one for the 4 ways and 1 for turn signals now that you have found them turn on working signal touch the flasher unit you will feel it pulse and hear the noise when you have the one pulseing on working signal this will need replacing can also be in fuse area have a good day

2 seperate flasheers 1 for 4 way flashers and 1 for directionals change the flasher

didn`t say what year it was but change turn flasher not four way flasher it proubly has two one for turn one for 4 way. your lucky because one side flashes so listen for clicking sound and you should feel it also.

I'AM PRETTY SURE YOU HAVE TO LOOK IN FUSE BOXES UNDER THE HOOD AN INSIDE CABIN

if the hazards flash the problem is not the flasher. Most likley you need a turn signal switch

First off make sure you dont have a faulty bulb check to see they are all good. you should know this by activating your turn signal if the indicator turns on but does not flash and you dont hear the clicking sound then you have a bad bulb. If all your bulbs are good then try changing out your flasher it may be faulty.

well i just fix a 2002 vette with no turn signals and no 4 ways,,it was the four way flasher was bad and thats part of the 4 way switch,,,but the brake lights work,,i think you might have a bad IPC,instrument panel cluster,,that controls everything,,the 4 ways flasher only control 4 ways and turn signals,,,so i dont think you prob is the flasher i think its internal to the IPC,,i rec take to chevy dealer get it checked

To my knowledge the turn signal flasher for a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero is part of the Hazard Flashing switch. It is actually a 4 way flasher unit in one assembly.

Additionally, there was a recall order for 1999-2002 Alero models due to electrical issues which includes signal lights. You can try calling Oldsmobile at 1-800-630-6537. The Ref. No. is 04098A issued Jan. 11, 2006. Accordingly, the repairs will be made at no charge to the customer. The special policy covers warranty repair (for such problems) for a period of 10 years or 150,000 miles (240,000 km), whichever occurs first.
