check that your map sensor is getting direct vacuum. if it's mounted directly on the throttle body, take it off and see that the vacuum passage is not clogged up. also check that it is getting voltage and that the computer sees it. Your map sensor and tps are responsible for how much fuel goes into the engine when you are driving; the o2 pretty much only regulates idle mixture. also see that your egr is not stuck open.
Your carb is out of adjustment for the high and low idle circuits. Turn both in until soft seated and back out 1.5 turns. This is a good starting point for fine adjusting, may work good from this location. There should be a mark on carb indication which one is which.
well the cherry red exhaust tells me that its getting way too much fuel, and the idle problem will continue if the float inside the carb is bad, or the needle for fuel cut off is stuck, either way the carb has to come off to be thouroghly cleaned, and check the float, it should be fverry light, and if its a brass one, shake it back and forth by your ear to listen for fuel in it, this will make the float sink lower in the carb and not allow the fuel to shut off. good luck hope this helps
coloured pipes can that eng is running too hot, weak mixture, air leaks in ind and ex ,ignition timing retarded = advance/****** unit sticking or siezed.thin stainless pipes will normly discolour
